Break down the actions of your day/week (or goals) into the matrix

Assess the cost/energy that each item represents - quantify/qualify for focus

Assign a role/lead or think of a person to lead this particular action/goal (aka delegate or assign yourself)

Be honest with yourself to “build a life you don’t need a vacation from”

For action, there is a reaction. For every energy quadrant, there is recovery/energy management that needs to be implemented to avoid burnout.

*Note: Recovery tactics needed

BRILLIANCE 💎 “I love this, and I’m good at this”

REFLECT: Working in Brilliance & Flow state - when your time is spent in this facet, you’ll be happier and more productive.

Shiny Objects ✨ “I love this, but I am still learning and need to protect time to learn.”

REFLECT: Wildcard - with practice comes clarity. Will it continue to bring you joy? If you are pressed for time, practice might not be a wise use of your time.

Monotone: 😑 “I am good at this, but it’s boring/dislike.”

REFLECT: Others won’t do this as well as you and training will be a commitment and possibly even tedious because it means time and energy, but the long term ease of workflow by teaching/delegating the tasks will improve quality of life.
